Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).
  2. Combine shortening, salt, and peanut butter and mix well. Add sugars gradually and cream thoroughly. Add beaten eggs and milk. Mix well.
  3. Sift flour with soda and add to first mixture, blending well.
  4. Drop from teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Press with fork or fancy glass. Bake 15-20 minutes

This is the worst cookie I have had. It was easy to make but as soon as I put them in the oven, they flattened out like a pancake. Most cookies that I have had were nice and thick and these were not. I will not make them again.

A yummy, fluffy, peanut butter cake. I prefer to put a raisin ontop of each cookie before baking.
