“Soda bread farls are ideal for frying after they have been made a day or so. These taste great with a poached egg on top. Fried soda is also one of the essential ingredients in an Ulster fry.”

This brings back childhood memories, but my mum always fried the bread along side bacon - great flavor. Not good for the waistline but definitely worth the splurge. A must with an Ulster fry! Thanks - you can guess I am from Ulster.
