Directions
- Line a 9 x 9 inch pan with graham crackers.
- Boil together 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1 cup brown sugar and scant 1/2 cup milk for two minutes.
- Remove from stove and stir in: graham cracker crumbs, coconut, chopped walnuts, and cherries. Pour on graham crackers in pan. Place a layer of graham crackers on top of filling. Spread with Butter Icing.
- To Make Butter Icing: Combine icing sugar, 3 tablespoons butter or margarine and approximately 3 tablespoons of milk, or amount needed to give a spreading consistency.
