Directions

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla gradually. Add coconut and flour; mix well.
  2. Stir in chocolate chips and almonds; drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Remove and cool.

I added 1/2 tsp. of coconut flavoring because I thought the dough didn't taste like much of anything. The end result was pretty good. Very soft, like I like 'em. Flavor was okay.

i JUST MADE THIS RECIPE FOR THE FIRST TIME. i THOUGHT THEY DID NOT HAVE MUCH FLAVOR. iF i MAKE THEM AGAIN i THINK i WOULD ADD MORE FLOVROING (MAYBE COCONUT OR ALMOND). tHEY WERE EASY ADN QUICK TO MAKE.
