Directions

  1. Grease an 8 inch square baking pan.
  2. In the top of a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring until smooth. Remove from the heat and gradually blend in the cereal.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, then cut into large or small bars.
  4. All done! Now take a photo, rate it, and share your accomplishments!

These were just too soft and messy. They were great just out of the refrigerator, but after a bit they became gooey enough to fall apart when I picked them up.

great beginner recipe. I used natural, smooth pb and honey nut cheerios w/ great results. These are pretty melty on your fingers as you eat them so I think wrapping each serving separately in wax paper or saran wrap and storing in the fridge would be a good idea...

A great recipe to share with a beginning cook. The young cooks can make as a treat. Very easy with minimal dishwashing but with a great tasted
