Directions
- In a large bowl, cream together butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, and beat well after each addition.
- Sift and measure flour, and reserve two tablespoons. Mix remaining flour with soda and spices; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Dredge raisins in the 2 reserved tablespoons of flour, then stir them into the batter along with the walnuts.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and cool cookies on a wire rack.
