Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Cream together margarine, butter and sugars until fluffy. Mix in eggs one at a time. Blend in vanilla, salt and baking soda. Add flour, semi-sweet chocolate chips, vanilla chips, and pecan halves and mix until all ingredients are moistened.
  3. Drop by spoonful (I use a large soup spoon to make a large cookie) onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 12-13 minutes.

The only thing I didn't like about these cookies is that they baked out soooo flat!!! Like pancake flat! Otherwise they were very yummy :)

Three stars but only if you reduce the salt to 1/2 tsp. as I did. Even at that these were plenty salty and I can't imagine, for flavor OR health reasons, using a full 1-1/2 tsp. of salt. That ...
