“This is a very adult appetizer or snack food and great for entertaining. Try to use a good Port. I use MacLaren's Imperial Sharp Cold Pack Cheddar cheese. Serve with Granny Smith apples dipped in lemon juice.”

  1. Beat the Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and port wine together until smooth; then pack into a crock. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This was good with the apples and had a very interesting flavor to it. I think I would like to try this with pretzels as well. It has a nice creamy texture and is pretty to look at. I will do this again.
