Directions

  1. Cream sugar and butter in mixer till creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat till well-mixed.
  2. Blend in flour, baking powder, and salt. Continue beating until well mixed. Beat in melted chocolate on low speed just until mixed.
  3. Shape into slightly flattened balls (rounded teaspoonfuls). Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 7-8 minutes or until set. Cool for about a minute, then remove to wire racks to cool.

These are the most amazing cookies ever! They are incredibly tender and have a wonderful chocolate flavor. I am a true chocoholic and didn't really believe a chocolate cookie without chocolat...

Very nice chocolate flavor, not exactly fudgy, but certainly chewy and yummy. Make sure you watch these, though: I baked them 6 minutes and a couple of them still burned.
