Original recipe yields 2 dozen
Directions
- Heat sugar and syrup together in heavy pan until boiling. Add peanut butter. Mix until well blended. Pour over corn flake cereal , coating the cereal well.
- Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt chocolate chips in a small sauce pan. Spread over batter. Chill for 20 -25 minute. Cut into bars

"very good - the kids all gobbled them up and asked for more. VERY easy to make. If yours got hard, it's because you let the sugar/syrup boil too long. Once it comes to a boil, take it off of the heat ..." See more(the peanut butter still mixes nicely). My nephew said this is better than a Butterfinger. I might like a little more cornflake in it - I will use more cornflakes next time to test. Fun, easy, and good."
