Original recipe yields 1 nine inch pie

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Beat eggs until frothy, add sugars and vanilla.
  3. Melt butter or margarine, and add to sugar and egg mixture.
  4. Stir in flour until well blended.
  5. Mix in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour into pie pan and bake for 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

It is so ric..." See moreh and delicious. I changed a few things - I omitted the nuts and 1/4 c. butter and used a large-sized graham cracker crust (because I hate pastry crust.) TIP: Many people complain that the chips sink to the bottom. With about 20 minutes left to cook, I just dropped about 20-30 additional chocolate chips on top of the pie. These didn't sink and made it look like a giant chocolate-chip cookie. Way cute..."
