Eighth Race Pie

"Don't know where the name of this pie came from, but it is one of the best pecan, chocolate pies I've ever tasted. Serve warm or cold with lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. If preferred, use walnuts instead of pecans."

Great recipe. The 8th race refers to the Kentucky Derby. This is an excellent version of the Derby or "Winner's Circle" pie
