“Don't know where the name of this pie came from, but it is one of the best pecan, chocolate pies I've ever tasted. Serve warm or cold with lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. If preferred, use walnuts instead of pecans.” - by Lori

"I made this pie for a Kentucky Derby party this last Saturday. While it was very easy and looked great when I put it in the oven, it refused to set. I baked it 45 min. on bottom rack as per recipe, ..." See morebut it was like water when I took it out. I've never made a pie like this so I'm hoping someone who gave this 5 stars will review it and tell me what I did wrong. Needless to say I was very embarrassed when I cut into a beautifully done pie (or so it appeared) only to have it liquid in the middle. Help please!"
