  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together 1 cup half and half and the cornstarch until smooth. Add remaining half and half. Over low heat, bring mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly to prevent sticking. Remove from heat.
  2. Put chocolate and Amaretto in a small bowl; microwave on high 20 seconds. Stir until chips are mostly melted.
  3. Return milk to low heat. Add chocolate; stir continuously, scraping pan, until thick.
  4. Cool. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

This is a good recipe if you need a quick chocolate fix. It lacks a little depth compared to other "old fashioned" chocolate pudding recipes, maybe because it has so few ingredients, but it help...

This was more of a thick mouse. We didn't care for the flavor very bitter and had to add some sugar to it just to be able to eat some of it.
