AMY BARTHELEMY

AMY BARTHELEMY

This is our traditional Christmas eve meal that my Grandmother serves each year. It is best when boiled, cubed, potatoes or macaroni noodles are added, you pick which one and then give it a try.

Very very easy soup, and inexpensive as well. I made my version with oyster mushroms (which are cheaper where I live) and macaroni! Very tasteful!! Will definitely make again!

I enjoyed this soup with some change I saute the onions, mushroom, garlic and used one container of chicken broth with 2 cups of water I also ground up some caraway seeds plus some whole ones for good measure.I didnot add salt but did add the pepper.Next time will try veg.broth and add spaetzle instead of elbows.I will give this a 5 star rating
