Original recipe yields 10 servings

Directions

  1. Finely crush 24 of the cookies; mix with butter. Press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. (Mixture will be thick.)
  3. Spoon 1-1/2 cups of the pudding into crust. Gently stir 1/2 of the whipped topping into remaining pudding; spread over pudding layer in crust. Chop remaining 8 cookies; stir into remaining whipped topping. Spread over pie.
  4. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set.

I think some people are following the pudding directions from the pudding box when they p..." See morerepare it! Do not do this! It is 2 cups cold milk for both boxes! The box will tell you to use 2 cups for each pudding packet making it 4 cups milk. That is why your pie is sloppy. This recipe is very good! Perfect consistency and this crust is way better than the packaged premade oreo crust."

These are the only changes I would make to this recipe: Allow it to set overnight, as opposed to only 4 hours. I would recommend freezing the pie prior to serving for easy cutting & aesthetic presentation. I also topped each slice off with an Oreo cookie. Delicious!"
