Original recipe yields 6 to 8 servings



  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend together the eggs, peanut butter, sugar, light and dark corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Fold in peanuts and pour into pie crust.
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and cool; serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

I love the contrast of sweet and salty in this recipe. The peanut butter makes it nice and creamy. My husband said that it tasted like a payday candy bar. This is definitely a keeper at my house. I am a lifetime weight watcher and this recipe is definitely worth the calories!



This was good, but the nuts did not rise to the top as in the picture and so they became soft if the pie filling. It had a nice flavor. I would try again, but sprinkle the nuts on top instead of folding them in the filling.



Wow! Turned out perfectly! I only had unsalted nuts on hand, but threw 1/4+ tsp. salt in to compensate. It's great!
