"Simply put, delicious! A little on the decadent side, but it can be made with fat-free half-and-half and a heart-healthy spread instead of butter. Serve with garlic bread sticks, a nice salad, and a glass of Chardonnay."

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Keep warm and covered.
  2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until garlic releases its aroma, about 2 minutes, being careful not to let the garlic brown. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat, and cook, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes. Add the half-and-half and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the cream cheese and Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until cheeses melt and mixture is smooth. Mix in the crabmeat and continue cooking until crabmeat is heated through, about 3 minutes.
  4. Divide the fettucine between 2 plates or bowls and top with the crab sauce.

This is awesome! If you've ever had Red Lobster's Crab Alfredo, you won't feel the need to go spend that money anymore, because you can do it yourself at home for cheaper and it tastes the same ...

The sauce for this was too thick; I had to add whole milk to thin it out, and it was still very thick and tacky. The cayenne pepper was overwhelming and I could barely taste the crab (I even us...

This was an excellent Alfredo recipe. I took the advice of the other reviewers and cut the half and half with milk. Next time I make this I will also either cut back on or omit the cayenne pep...

This was crabtastic!! My DH was craving some crab and this fit the bill, along with some crab legs on the side. I did use 1 cup milk with 1 cup half & half. I didn't think there would be enoug...

This was ok.....I added more half and half because the sauce was very thick. I think next time I'll add more garlic and less cayanne pepper. Even though my son ate it he said it was hot so nex...

Sorry but this recipe was way too thick and gooey. I will keep looking for an alfredo recipe.

Very good! I made this the other day for my roommate and myself. I used 1 cup half-and-half and one cup 2% milk instead of the two cups half-and-half... very decadent! Next time I will likely ha...
