  1. Stir soy sauce, rice wine, ginger, and garlic together in a shallow dish. Place tuna in the marinade, and turn to coat. Cover dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
  3. Remove tuna from marinade and discard remaining liquid. Brush both sides of steaks with oil.
  4. Cook tuna on the preheated grill until cooked through, 3 to 6 minutes per side.

I more than doubled the marinade for 2 tuna steaks, added 1 teaspoon brown sugar, a bit of oyster sauce, a dash of sesame oil, and chopped chives. Boiled the leftover of the marinade and thicken...

yuh yuh good.. easy on the ginger..great w/ frozen trader joe's tuna

I substituted rice vinegar and sherry for rice wine vinegar and it added a great flavor!
