Original recipe yields 16 bars
Directions
- Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with foil. Spray with no-stick spray. In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter.
- Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Cook and stir until brown sugar is dissolved and mixture is well blended.
- Remove from heat. Stir in wheat flakes and chocolate chips.
- Spread into prepared baking pan; chill until firm. Cut into bars.

Bringing it to a boil makes these bars quite sticky and chewy. I would just stir over the heat for about 30 seconds. Kids enjoyed these."
