  1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Lightly butter a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, cook for 8 minutes, then stir in broccoli, and cook 3 minutes more. Drain and return to the pot.
  3. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil over medium heat, and stir in the garlic. Cook and stir until the garlic has turned golden-brown, about 3 minutes. Pour in white balsamic vinegar, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then pour over the drained pasta and broccoli. Stir in the butter, pine nuts, and half of the Parmesan cheese, then pour into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  4. Broil in preheated oven until the cheese has crisped and turned golden brown, about 4 minutes.

This was not very good. I thought it sounded delicious, but when i actually made it, i was sorely disappointed. It was very bland and didn't have a whole lot of content. I ended up having to a...

I loved this pasta. I used regular balsamic vinegar and shredded parmesan cheese instead. Skipped the "crisping" step but it was delicious!

Awesome recipe. I did not add the broccoli or the pine nuts. I added can chicken, red wine vinegar and a couple pinches of dill weed. Cooked it all in the pot. Just sprinkled Parmesan and put t...

I cooked some chicken pieces in the olive oil instead of garlic. I like the flavor of garlic that hasn't been browned, so I added it at the end and didn't cook it much. It was great, not dry at ...
