  1. In a large slow cooker combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic, onion, rosemary, oregano, thyme, parsley, bay leaf and red pepper. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, stir frequently.

We really liked this sauce! Scaled the dried seasonings down a bit since I am sure the author meant teaspoons instead of tablespoons. Found many of the other reviews to be cruel and out of lin...

I made this again using only 1 tablespoon of the spices, replaced thyme with basil, and then added about 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and it was much more to our liking.
