  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream butter with brown sugar and white sugar. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Sift together the flour and baking soda, stir into the creamed mixture.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Bake for 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir the chips into the batter to create a marbleized effect. Place pan back into the oven and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned.

Just as I remembered making 30 years ago! Easy and delicious.

Although this recipe didn't turn out the way I expected, it was delicious. After 3 minutes, the chips were not melted enough to swirl so the cookies didn't look marbelized. But it was just enoug...

My mom discovered this recipe when I was in my pre-teens. I loved baking it and we all loved eating it! Kids really like to "swirl" the chocolate chips. It's fast and easy too.

Very good and easy to make.
