Pancake and Sausage Casserole

Pancake and Sausage Casserole

Jon 4

"I wanted a pancake and sausage casserole for deer camp and at home, too, since we have a good-sized family. I wanted to have something that would be ready for everyone to sit and eat together. I couldn't find one, so I began experimenting. Finally, I am satisfied with this one. All of my tasters agreed it worked. Top it with butter, syrup, or your favorite topping."

The published recipe doesn't state it ( when I submitted it I had in the directions a 1 inch baking sheet ) and I STRONGLY recommend a shallow baking dish such as a cookie sheet ( 1" deep ) ins...

I needed to use up some pancake mix so I used 2 & 1/4 cups of pancake mix, 2 tsp baking powder, 2 eggs, 1 & 1/2 cups milk, 2 tsp vanilla & 1 pound of maple sausage and baked for 20 minutes in a ...

Very good and easy to make. I did use a cookie sheet and think that was perfect. If I had used a deeper dish, it would have been too thick. I doubled the amount of sausage (Jimmy Dean maple) and...

This has been a great last minute spread the wealth kind of dinner that sticks to the ribs even when the times a beyond lean...

This recipe was a keeper. Only reason I rated it a 3 out of 5 stars is because it is very thick. I did take the advice of others after my first attempt and baked the recipe in a cookie sheet. Th...

This is a delicious recipe. The only change that I will make next time is to double the sausage. It is great for either supper or breakfast. Served with syrup it is reminiscent of a sausage M...

took the advice of others and used cookie sheet. Also as a shortcut used 3.5 cups bisquick in place of flour, baking powder and salt.

Loved this recipe. But definitely bake it in a jelly roll pan/cookie sheet. Kids loved it too.
