“A quick and easy spread for finger sandwiches. It's light, too. It's great in stuffed celery or small finger sandwiches on white, sourdough or pumpernickel bread. I add a small, thin slice of stuffed olive in the center of sandwiches for a garnish.”

Directions

  1. Place pimento cheese, cottage cheese, and sweet pickle relish in a blender and blend until smooth. Keep cheese in a closed plastic container until ready to use.

Store bought pimento cheese is NASTY! It is made with imitation cheese, whatever that is. Please just make some homemade pimento cheese. It only has a few ingredients. 8 oz. grated cheddar, enough mayo to moisten, a good squirt of lemon juice,cayenne pepper to taste and a jar of chopped pimento,drained. Mix well and chill. Homemade and delicious!!!!!!

I would love to give this s try but... What is pimento cheese food?

I used that process cheese food they have and added my own olives. I think it worked. But I never did like processed cheese so that is a prerequisite here. Good combo and great instructions though.
