  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread the slivered almonds onto a baking sheet, and toast until the nuts start to turn golden brown and become fragrant, 5 to 10 minutes. Watch the nuts carefully as they bake, because they burn quickly. Once toasted, set the nuts aside to cool to room temperature.
  2. Mix together the mayonnaise, milk, and sugar in a large salad bowl. Stir in the bacon bits and Parmesan cheese until the dressing is well combined and creamy.
  3. Place the spinach leaves, chopped cauliflower, and toasted almonds into the salad bowl, and stir lightly to coat with dressing.

Yuck! I made this exactly as directed and I thought the dressing was heavy and gross.

Amazing salad! In-law aproved too! I use home raised bacon instead of bacon bits, though i did use the bits one time while we were camping. The real stuff is 100000 times better. Cant compare...

I made this but didn't have the cauliflower so I added boiled eggs instead. Everyone loved it. I would highly recommend this recipe

So fresh and tasty, similar to seven layer salad but with a healthier green.

Absolutely delicious!!!! Added craisins, skipped the bacon bits. It was the bomb!

AMAZING!! I used veganaise and stevia substitutes since i'm not supposed to eat dairy (i wanted to cheat on the parmesan cheese but couldn't do both...) and can't eat sugar right now (prediabeti...

This was a fantastic salad. I took it to a large family dinner and everyone raved about it. We added a handful of craisins and seemed to add a little sweetness.

I used half the sugar but still found the dressing too sweet. Otherwise I liked the flavor combinations...so will try again someday with even less sugar.

Loved this. Reminded me or broccoli salad, which we usually make with raisins and red onions, the nuts and spinach with broccoli made a nice change to the dressing salad.
