When my doctor said that I needed to eat more vegetables, I decided to make a recipe that was good and had vegetables. I knew that fudge was one of my favorite things to eat and that corn was a vegetable that did not have a lot of flavor. So I mixed those two things together and it was delicious. I could not even tell that I was eating vegetables!

Based on a 2,000 calorie diet


  1. Combine the chocolate chips, milk, corn, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir and cook until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  2. Line a square dish with waxed paper. Spread the chocolate mixture into the lined dish. Chill in refrigerator until firm, about 2 hours. Peel off waxed paper and cut into small squares. Store covered in refrigerator.

Adding corn (which is a grain FYI) to fudge does not make it healthy. Your doctor likely told you to eat more vegetables to improve your diet, smothering them in chocolate is not the solution.


No no no. Oh this was bad. Sorry, but corn does not belong in fudge. I have heard of "hiding" spinach in brownies, if you are looking to sneak some veggies in your diet that might be worth trying, but this recipe IS NOT


this fudge was okayish, but then came corn. I did not care for this recipe.
