Original recipe yields 2 dozen



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, egg and whipped topping until a dough forms. In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on an unprepared cookie sheet about 1 to 2 inches apart.
  3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will be golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.

They are easy and do look impressive and are very tasty. The dough is super sticky. I sprayed my hands with oil before rolling it into walnut sized balls. I came out with 4 dozen cookies. Thanks Connie!



I was looking for something easy to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon, and this recipe was exactly what I was looking for. It tastes just like a snickerdoodle and is so easy to make.



Yummy!! These are great and very easy. I just rubbed my hands with butter before rolling into balls and they turned out lovely.
