  1. Place apples, pineapple and juice, vinegar, sugar, mustard, water, honey, garlic, cayenne pepper, and onion powder in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the apples are tender, about 15 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then puree in a blender until smooth. Place the pork chops into a resealable plastic bag, and pour the apple puree overtop. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate. Remove pork chops from marinade, and shake off excess. Discard remaining marinade.
  3. Cook on preheated grill until the chops are no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side depending on the thickness.

This was a very tasty dish, and very simple to make. I did not marinate it over night I made it around twelve let it marinate until about 5:30 then but the chops on the grill. I was very sceptia...

I thought the recipe was okay. The preparation was kind of lengthy, I think, for the quality of the dish. I mean, don't get me wrong, it definitely tasted good. I may have put less cayenne peppe...

I loved the recipe. I did substitute 1 cup applesauce for the apples. It was easy to make and delicious. Thanks for posting it.

For me, this recipe used too much time and discarded ingredients to imbue the pork chop with a subtle sweet spicy apple flavor.

It was very good, they came out with just the right sweet and spice . prep time did take a while but its a perfect Sunday night dinner

This dish was barely edible for me, although my husband described it as "fine."

WAY too sweet.

It sounds yummi! I will have to try it some time.

Okay, but not great. Probably won't make it again.
