  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place the ham in a baking dish or roasting pan with the flattest side down. Cover with ketchup then use your hands to pack brown sugar into the ketchup. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until heated through and sugar has caramelized, about 1 hour.

I made this glaze for our Thanksgiving ham and there wasn't a bite left for sandwiches the next day. Thank you Kellie it was wonderful!

Tastes really good! i added a bit of pineapple juice to the ketchup. I also think that scarring the ham or letting the ketchup mixture marinate would give it more taste. Besides that it was wond...

For those of you who don't like ketchup or would prefer a little bit more tang this recipe works equally well using yellow mustard instead of ketchup.
