  1. In a medium skillet over medium high heat, saute the ground beef for 10 to 15 minutes, or until well browned. Break up with a fork until fine. Add the water, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, chili powder, monosodium glutamate and salt. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.

This recipe was very good, but a bit too salty. The second time that I made it, I omitted the MSG and just added pepper. With the high salt content in the tomato juice it did not need any more...
