“I've been making these for years. They are very tasty and have a great nutty flavor.”

Original recipe yields 12 cakes

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and pecans (if desired). In a separate bowl, stir together milk, butter and egg. Add to the flour mixture and stir well.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Other than having to add more milk, the recipe halves nicely (used 1 egg).I didn't really get any "graham" taste. Don't wait until you see bubbles before turning them like you do with regular pancakes or they will be burnt. I would make these again.

These are very yummy. The kids love them when I leave out the nuts and use cinnamon grahams. Try it both ways it's great.

These pancakes tasted pretty good and were a nice change from regular pancakes. I doubled the amount of brown sugar, added some cinnamon and a little nutmeg and left out the pecans. I may make them again in the future.
