  1. Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning and mix well.
  2. Mix batter ingredients together in a pre-sprayed 9-1/2-inch deep dish pie plate.
  3. Top batter with taco meat filling. Pour salsa evenly over meat; sprinkle with shredded cheese and corn chips.
  4. Bake by placing in a COLD oven; set temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake for 30 minutes or until done.

I doubled everything and put it into a 9x13 pan. I also added a can of beans in chili sauce on top of the meat. Increase baking time to allow for extra size. YUM!

You should try this, it's really good! I followed the recipe as written. Having read a couple of reviews stating the pie plate was too full, I instead used an oblong Corning Ware casserole dis...

I made this tonight and yeah, it's pretty good. The one thing that throws me is the amount of yeast...2 packs? I used a quarter of that and the "crust" was perfect.
