Fabulous Orange Cake

D. Claybourn 0

"This is a very rich and moist cake that is one of my husband's favorites, and very easy to make. We have also substituted Peach Schnapps for the orange liqueur with great results."

I made this for my husband's birthday, omitting the white chocolate chips. He absolutely loved it! (so did I!)

I have never seen my son's girlfriend eat an entire slice of cake...until now!! She's very petite and mindful of calories. Well, let this review serve as a warning. This cake will break down your will power...but what a way to go!! Perfection on a plate. I followed the recipe exactly except for adding fresh peel of one orange, grated. Try it, you'll like it!!

I have made this cake twice - once using the original recipe and once using a chocolate cake mix with a chocolate pudding mix. I much prefer the chocolate version rather than the original version. I must say though that both times I took the cake to other people's houses and they all loved it! I will use this recipe again.
