  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Melt butter in rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches, in oven.
  2. Stir together Bisquick, paprika, salt and pepper; coat chicken. Place skin sides down in dish (dish and butter should be hot).
  3. Bake 35 minutes; turn chicken. Bake about 15 minutes longer or until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.

  • High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Bake 40 minutes; turn chicken. Bake about 20 minutes longer.

Great taste, but took off a star since the Bisquick mixture had a hard time sticking to the chicken. Next time I think I'd first dip the chicken in a mix of egg and milk.

This recipe is just OK. I used chicken breasts, so I had to watch them carefully since it gets drier than chicken on the bone. I really prefer coating my baked chicken with crushed cornflakes....

This was a very good, easy recipe. I used chicken leg quarters for it. The mixture didn't stick to the chicken very well; I'll probably use egg next time. But it still turned out very tasty!
