“The next time you fry up some bacon try this delicious little treat. They can also be served sprinkled with brown sugar.”

  1. Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet; cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Place the bananas cut side down and cook one minute. Flip with a spatula and cook an additional minute. Drain the banana slices on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with bacon.

I'm sorry. I really like bacon, and I really like bananas, but it smelled so awful I wasn't able to tolerate the smell long enough to even attempt to eat it....

I remember seeing this recipe and thinking it was strange. After making breakfast one morning, the bananas were sitting right there just waiting to be eaten. Purely out of curiousity, I made this recipe. I often think that bacon makes food better. Unfortuntately, this was not one of those times.

I added a little brown sugar and cinnamon to the finished bananas! very tasty!
