Directions

  1. Place the bacon in a skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and crisp, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate.
  2. Toast the slices of whole wheat bread in a toaster, and spread a toasted slice with peanut butter and honey. Place the bacon on the honey, top with the remaining toasted bread slice, and serve.

mmmmm..... bacon, peanut butter, & honey... Yeah, Rock on !!!! This is awesome- maybe a litttle banana next time- maybe grilled...

I made this for my kids this morning for breakfast, using up the last of a package of bacon I had leftover from making soup a couple days ago. Believe it or not, they loved it. I took a bite just for posterity and thought it was unique but not my style. They flipped for it though, and that's what matters. The toasted bread is crucial to make this sandwich work. I'll make this again.....for them.

This was delicious, quick, and easy. The only thing I did different was use Honey-wheat English Muffins. This is really going to be fixed a lot around here in the future!
