Adjust Servings

Original recipe yields 4 servings



  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, gently mix, and season with salt to taste. If preferred, add more cilantro and fresh lime juice to taste.
  2. Refrigerate for thirty minutes prior to serving.
  3. Just before serving, toss salad with romaine, frisee and watercress. Season to taste with salt and fresh black pepper. Serve immediately.

Very good, I served the salad on top of chopped romaine and leaves of red leaf and and tossed at the table



Absolutely delicious! I topped mixed greens with the avocado/tomato mixture. Flavourful and satisfying.



Yum!! This was excellent. I used red onion thinly sliced and used the whole red romaine lettuce leaves on the plates and piled the salad on top of it for serving. Directions are a bit confusing on that anyways. In the ingredient section it says to leave the leaves whole then in the directions says to toss the salad with the greens. I don't think you would want the leaves whole if you are gonna toss them with the rest of the ingredients. I did not use frisee or watercress because I did not want to run to the store just for those 2 items.
