  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheese and butter. Blend in the flour and salt. Form the mixture into 6 balls. Roll the balls into slender "snakes." Cut each "snake" into 4 straws. Bake the straws for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown.

Not sure if I did something wrong but these were inedible! No one liked them. They tasted like pie crust - too floury. Sorry but I won't be making these again.

The flavor is really good!! But I also couldn't roll these into snakes or even balls. I put the mix into the bottom of a baking dish about 1/4 inch deep until crisp and cut into squares.

These are VERY YUMMY!! I did have to add water however when mixing. And I added some garlic salt on top before baking, and that made them extra scrumptous!!!! MMMMM!!!!
