Original recipe yields 1.5 cups

Directions

  1. Extract and reserve 1/2 teaspoon juice from the onion.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the onion juice, creamy salad dressing, cream cheese, crabmeat, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and celery. Thoroughly blend all the ingredients until they are smooth and creamy. Allow the dip to chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

I added salt and pepper to taste, but it was still bland. ..." See moreFinally, I added 1 1/2 teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning and that did the trick. I would suggest adding your favorite seasoning such as Italian blend, garlic blend or perhaps Cajun."
