Original recipe yields 3 cups



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place spicy pork sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
  3. Drain sausage and place in a large bowl. Mix in 4 green onions, nonfat sour cream, low-fat mayonnaise, fat-free Parmesan cheese and pimento peppers. Transfer sausage mixture to a medium baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned. Garnish with remaining green onion and serve hot.

Made this dip for a party and it was great! The amount this made was just right. We tried it with Fritos Scoops and sesame crackers. Both matched the flavor of the dip. Rich and creamy! Smells delicious while cooking ;o)



When I explained what was in this dip, people made a face. When they tried it, it won over the even the toughest critic (my mom). I used Ground Italian sausage cooked with a little hot sauce. Instead of pimento, I added fresh chopped red pepper.
