This festive wreath looks fancy but takes only minutes to prepare. All you need are ripe Chilean Hass Avocados, a little lime juice, seasoning, and a zip top plastic bag. Mixing is easy, the kids will love to pipe the avocado mixture and clean up is a snap!

Directions

  1. Cut avocados in half, remove the pits and peel. Put flesh into a large zip top plastic bag. Squeeze to press air out and seal bag. Mash bag with hands until avocados are smooth but with a few chunks. With scissors, snip just the corner off of one end of the bag. Pipe avocado mixture into wreath shape on large serving plate. Garnish with chopped red pepper. Serve with crackers.

I liked the idea of shaping guacamole into a wreath for a Christmas party. I used tomatoes for holley berries and cilantro for the bow. The only problem was it looked like a runny, green mess once people started digging in. So only the people that were there first could appreciate what it was supposed to look like. I used my usual guacamole recipe with avocado, lime juice, jalepenos, tomatoes, onion and cilantro.

This was a cute idea for christmas, but the guacamole was pretty bland. I used tomotoes instead of the red pepper. Very cute will probably use again for christmas.
