Original recipe yields 6 servings
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender, 20 to 30 minutes.
- With an electric mixer on low, blend potatoes, slowly adding milk, about 1/2 a cup at a time. Use more or less to achieve desired texture. Add butter and maple syrup, to taste. Blend until smooth. Serve warm.

I will defin..." See moreitely make it again. On a side note I've also made this with a crisp. To do that put the finished mash into a casserole dish. In a separate bowl combine 1 tbsp melted butter, 1/2 crushed bran flakes and 1/4 cup pecans and 2 tbsp of brown sugar. Mix well and sprinkle on top of squash mash. Broil it in oven until crisp is lightly browned. Serve. Delicious!"
