Directions

  1. Drain the clams. In a medium bowl, beat 1 egg and stir in the cup of baking mix and clams.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat the oil and fry the clams in pieces until golden brown. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels.

I don't think there is enough liquid in this. I doubled the eggs and still it didn't work for me. I won't make this again.

My son loves these! Easy and quick and very tasty!

I added a little bit of the reserved clam juice until the consistency was good.. otherwise it would have been too dry. Not a lot of flavor. Will try again and add some minced onions and salt and a dash of old bay seasoning.
