  1. Thoroughly mix 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, onion and egg in a large bowl. Shape the beef mixture firmly into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) burgers.
  2. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the burgers and cook until they're well browned on both sides. Pour off any fat.
  3. Add the remaining soup, Worcestershire, water and mushrooms to the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the burgers are cooked through.

My husband really enjoyed this. I used a really lean ground beef and also added a clove of minced garlic, served with mashed potatoes...it's very comforting!

A very nice and easy patty. I simmered it for an extra 10 minutes and served it over whole wheat pasta. I will definitely be adding it to my recipe box. Thanks for the recipe.

yummy, easy comfort food. I made mine even easier when I found pre-formed turkey burger patties on sale. The pre-formed patties, one can of soup, a bit of water, a can of mushrooms, and a spl...
