Directions

  1. Cook the beef, onion and chili powder in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
  2. Stir 1/2 cup soup in the skillet and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
  3. Heat the remaining soup in a 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat until hot and bubbling. Spoon the beef mixture into the taco shells. Top with the soup, lettuce and tomato.

My husband loved these! I, on the other hand, wasn't too fond of them. The meat needed a little bit more flavor. Next time I think I'll add some more spices to it or something.

We really enjoyed these, but I have to say that after reding the reviews saying hoe they were pretty bland, I did change it a little. I made my taco meat as I usually do with the the taco seasoning. After simmering a few minutes, I added in the cheese soup and mixed it together until heated through. I thought they turned out very flavorful this way and my family loved them. I will be making this recipe again! Thanks for sharing. :)

I loved this recipe! I used taco seasoning instead of chili powder and Velveeta instead of the soup but I still loved this recipe
