"Famous Western Pennsylvania Ham Loaf. Perfect way to use up left over smoked ham after Christmas or Easter. Be sure to serve it with a generous amount of sauce. We use a hand-held meat grinder that belonged to my husband's great-grandmother - doesn't take long and is somewhat nostalgic. "

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet or jellyroll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the smoked ham and ground pork together until thoroughly mixed, and lightly mix in the graham crackers, evaporated milk, and eggs. Form the mixture into two loaves, and place the loaves onto the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together the tomato soup, brown sugar, vinegar, water, and dry mustard until well combined. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring to dissolve the brown sugar. Pour about 1 cup of sauce over each ham loaf, reserving remaining sauce.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours. Slice and serve with reserved sauce.

Exactly the recipe I was looking for. This is authentic PA Dutch, just like my Gram used to make. The big difference between this and other recipes is the graham crackers. I skipped the tomat...

This is IT! My late husband's ham loaf. This meal is DELISH made just as the recipe is written. Try it before making any changes. Certainly deserves a blue ribbon in my family's book!

This ham loaf was absolutely delicious-my whole family loved it! A definite Easter dinner tradition!

Was very good. Mixed with hot sausage instead of ground pork, exchanged water for condensed milk and cut back to 2 Tbs and microwaved for 8 minutes. Great!

This ham loaf recipe was a good way to use up my leftover Christmas ham, but it needs onions and bell peppers in order to give it some pep. Frankly, it was too sweet for me, but the family like...

Been searching for an old fashioned ham loaf recipe and Grams is just perfect! I prepared it exactly as written was short on Graham crackers so I used a little bread crumbs. Had some Christmas...

This was my first try at ham loaf. I used our farm-raised pork products to make it, and it was very good. The reason I gave only four stars is because the sauce was very runny, and I think the...
