  1. In small bowl, mix sugar, paprika, chili powder, curry powder, cumin, coriander, pepper and salt; set aside.
  2. In large microwavable bowl, combine oil and nuts. Microwave uncovered on High about 2 minutes or until fragrant. Stir in cereals, crackers and pretzels until evenly coated. Stir in sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture is thoroughly heated. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

Didn't actually have as much taste as I would have expected give the LARGE amount of spices, but still a good taste. Perhaps a bit too much sugar? i just discovered the key to help mix - just ...

I used only rice and corn Chex. I added more goldfish crackers instead of using nuts. I baked it at 250 for 45 minutes. Great recipe!

This was not as good as I had hoped.

i never made a chex mix before this. microwaving proved to be mush easier than baking. plus, the seasonings were great =]

This was okay; not the best Chex Mix I've had, and there are plenty of recipes out there. It has way too much sugar for the amount of spice. It's not "deviled" at all - perhaps with more chili...

Really good! A little spicy, a little sweet, perfect balance! I did change some things though...I did not use coriander, but I added 1 tsp each garlic and onion powder, and I used butter instead...
