  1. To make the marinade, whisk together the canola oil, garlic, whiskey, orange juice, lime juice, cumin, and soy sauce.
  2. To use the marinade, pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add up to two pounds of meat, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Absolutely wonderful! Used this with shrimp and chicken today -- super!! (and to the other reviewer -- so Jack Daniels is a Tennessee whiskey -- manufactured about 110 miles from the KY border...

Very good! I followed exactly except I added fresh cilantro bc I love it in everything. My family loved this!
