  1. Preheat oven on broiler setting. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together crushed saltine crackers, mayonnaise, brown mustard, onion, celery, and Old Bay seasoning. Gently stir in the crabmeat. Shape into 6 patties. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  3. Broil crab cakes 8 to 10 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

This was a good basic recipe. I made a few changed/additions. Like other users, halved the mayo and added 2 eggs. Used a bit more crab meat, as I like mine full of crab. 1/2 saltines, 1/2 br...

These were really great! They made me homesick for Baltimore. Too salty for me so I replaced the crackers with bread crumbs and added a bit more Old Bay instead. I think next time I'll try unsal...
